After hearing the word ‘First Trillion Dollar Company’ like everyone else the name ‘Apple’ might be in your head. What if we say you are wrong?

A decade before in 2007, the time when first iPhone was announced, before apple becoming a tech giant, there was a Chinese oil giant ‘PetroChina’, which reached the milestone of $1 trillion. But after reaching the $1 trillion milestone the days were not so bright and sunny for PetroChina in the following years. The 2008 recession trashed their market value to $260 billion, representing the largest destruction of shareholder wealth in world history, according to Bloomberg.

Now we know that the world’s first trillion-dollar company is PetroChina. It will be more correct if the statement is something like The worlds first listed trillion-dollar company is PetroChina.

Now we know about listed companies, what about the non-listed giants like Saudi ARAMCO and many more ???
